Normally I don’t blog or post notes although I mean to, I just don’t get around to it. But just a few minutes ago, I was inspired by something so small and I have to share it because you may be going through something or have been recently let down.
My chapter sorority is gearing up for the Little Miss AKA Pageant and I have been charged with developing and revising the pageant script. Earlier today, I realized I didn’t have any bios. Now, you can’t write a script without bios. So now, I have been charged with writing bios for 4 year olds that accurately describe their hobbies, favorites and goals/aspirations. In between my AIM chats, getting reserved books for students (I’m at work) and writing their bios, I had a thought. Your dreams are your testimony. What you really feel or think about yourself is reflected through your actions.
When our contestants had to state what they wanted to become when they grew up, the occupations included a teacher, nurse, doctor, writer, model, scientist and my favorite, a princess- all women want to be a princess when they grow up. How wonderful is it that we have girls already dreaming and thinking of what they want to accomplish in life. And they should because the bible says whatsoever you say out of your mouth and believe it, it shall come to past. Proverbs 23:7 says “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” I bet you remember what you wanted you be when you grew up when you were their age. Maybe it was a doctor, a mother, lawyer, or a policeman. Now days it’s a rapper or a football or basketball professional athlete. Regardless where you heart is, are you fulfilling your dreams? If not, today, speak your testimony and let your dreams manifest in your life.
I am convinced that dreams are your testimony… start living and begin to speak your dreams into reality.
